Youth Initiative Grants

This is an annual grant cycle and will be accepting applications again in November 2022. The March 2022 grant cycle has now closed.

Grants of up to $2000 available to youth

Young people have proven to have creative and effective ideas to implement meaningful change in their communities. The Youth Initiative Grants offers youth up to age 25 to develop and run projects to benefit both youth and the whole community.

ELIGIBILITY – These grants are available to young people up to age 25 who are partnering with an organization to create positive change in their local community. The partner organization can be a registered charity, First Nation organization, school, or church and youth must reside in either the North, Central or South Okanagan Similkameen. All applications are assessed by a Youth Initiative Grants Advisory Council who decide which projects are awarded grants.
